Director, Global EngineeringHengstler-Dynapar - Power & Industrial Technologies (P&IT)Job DescriptionThe Director of Global Engineering leads the worldwide engineering organization responsible for
new product development and sustaining engineering across the Power & Industrial Technologies portfolio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a global, multi-site engineering team
- Drive new product development (NPD) from concept through launch
- Oversee sustaining engineering, including product improvements, cost reduction, and lifecycle management
- Align engineering priorities with business strategy, growth initiatives, and customer needs
- Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, Operations, and Sales
- Improve product quality, cost, and time-to-market
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.)
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of engineering leadership experience in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Proven experience leading global engineering teams
- Strong background in both:
- New product development
- Sustaining / lifecycle engineering
- Experience with Lean, continuous improvement, and structured development processes
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect engineering decisions to financial outcomes
