Full Job Description

STV is seeking experienced communications professional to join our national Outreach & Engagement Strategies team.

The engagement team supports clients with communications and engagement strategy, working with clients and project teams to navigate high-visibility programs and evolving expectations around stakeholder engagement, communications, and public trust. We are helping shape how agencies communicate, align stakeholders, and deliver critical projects.

We guide clients through critical moments across the project lifecycle, through planning, design and construction, shaping how projects are introduced, understood, and experienced by the communities they serve.

Our team operates at both the program and project level, bringing structure, alignment, and strategic insight to infrastructure programs. The Director of Engagement will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding multidisciplinary teams through complex delivery environments.

The engagement team is a tight-knit, high-performing group of experienced practitioners. Equally important is how we work together. The team is grounded in mutual respect for the expertise each brings, with a shared focus on collaboration and problem-solving. Members are supported, trusted, and empowered to contribute their perspective, while also benefiting from the depth of knowledge across the team. This creates an environment where you can do your best work alongside peers who are equally invested in the success of both the work and each other.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer and editor, and a strategic thinker experienced in delivering robust communications programs. This role requires an inherent sense of initiative and a genuine commitment to the quality and impact of the work we deliver. This role offers the opportunity to support a range of clients in implementing engagement strategies across complex infrastructure programs, with a direct and visible impact on our communities.
