POSITION PURPOSEThe Director of Emergency Services provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for Lightshare's Emergency Services operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, timely, coordinated, and high-quality behavioral health and substance use services to individuals experiencing acute or emergent needs.
The Director oversees the overall performance of Emergency Services, including crisis response, emergency admissions, assessment, stabilization, disposition, patient flow, staffing, regulatory compliance, and coordination with hospitals, EMS, law enforcement, courts, community partners, and internal programs.
The Director is accountable for developing effective systems, monitoring department performance, establishing measurable expectations, developing leaders, and ensuring Emergency Services operates in alignment with Lightshare's mission, strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and standards of care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health, Healthcare Administration, Social Services, Nursing, Psychology, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive healthcare or behavioral health experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience.
- Experience overseeing emergency, crisis, behavioral health, substance use, or related services.
- Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of behavioral health crisis systems and emergency services.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
