Job Requirements
Education
Required
• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
Desired
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology, Business Administration or related field
Experience
Required
• Ten years of technical and field experience in the design, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment
• Ten years relevant experience managing and leading staff, planning and implementing projects, and budget development for large-scale projects within a utility or similar environment
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and standards (e.g. National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70, etc.) for commercial and industrial facilities
Desired
• Experience within the wastewater treatment industry, gaining knowledge of how the process of treating wastewater takes place and the structure of the plants and pumping stations
Licenses and Certifications
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Virginia
• Driver's License from state of residence
