Description

Title: Director of Development

Location: Manchester, NH 03101

Job Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Description:

To be responsible for all fundraising activities of the Center. To assist with all aspects of the Center's website. To establish new and motivating ongoing sponsorships with the Center. To play a large role in creating strategies for solid fundraising, donor relations, planned giving, and all other development functions. Must have 8 years or more of fundraising experience

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Continuous effort of donor relations, planned giving, stewardship, and sponsor recognition.
  • Maintains and grows sponsorships for the Center
  • Assists in monitoring and updating the website and coordinates the use of the site for other programs.
  • Works with the VP of Community Relations to assist with all agency events.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with media platforms like newspapers, radio, and television.
  • Monitors the receipt of donations and the thank-you process of the donors.
  • Monitors the flow of funding and reports to the VP and Development Committee on a regular basis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • In this next year the Development Director will take the lead in launching a planned giving program.


Experience and Education:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and 8 years or more of fundraising experience
