  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities across existing merchant portfolios, using merchant behavior, transaction activity, and external data to improve detection of fraud and risk events, and reduce avoidable attrition.
  • Own the end-to-end development of predictive models, decision frameworks, and automated risk strategies-from opportunity sizing and business case development through deployment, adoption, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
  • Represent Risk Monitoring Solutions with senior executives, clients, and strategic partners, communicating the vision, influencing decisions, and building strong capabilities.
  • Maintain strong model governance, controls, and monitoring practices so that growth is delivered responsibly, transparently, and at scale.

What you will need to have:

  • 12 years of progressive experience in data science, predictive modeling, fraud / risk analytics, or a related quantitative discipline, including significant experience leading leaders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AI/ML, advanced analytics, experimentation, and decision optimization, with experience moving solutions from concept to production and scaled business adoption.
  • Proven success defining and executing data and decision science strategies that drive fraud detection to reduce losses, revenue growth, customer retention, operating efficiency, or risk-adjusted profitability.
  • Strong knowledge of payments, merchant acquiring, lending, fraud, credit risk, including how data and decisioning can create value across the merchant lifecycle.
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills, with the ability to align senior stakeholders, present compelling business cases, and translate complex analytical concepts into clear decisions and outcomes.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation across Product, Technology, Risk, Operations, Sales, and client-facing organizations.
  • Working knowledge of modern analytical and data technologies, including Python, Snowflake, cloud platforms, real-time decisioning, and model deployment and monitoring environments.

What would be great to have:

  • Expertise in fraud, credit risk, merchant lifecycle analytics, and customer retention strategies.
  • Track record of commercializing analytical capabilities and partnering with Product and Sales teams to strengthen client propositions and support revenue growth.
