Full Job Description
Your Tasks
  • Lead the Electronics Customer Team and serve as the primary customer contact for all assigned projects, products, and commercial activities
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to secure new business, expand Brose's market position, and achieve sales, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Lead customer acquisition activities, including quotations, pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial decision-making while ensuring project profitability
  • Manage customer programs throughout the full product lifecycle, from acquisition and development through launch, serial production, and end of production
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across Sales, Project Management, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and other Brose functions to achieve project goals related to timing, cost, capacity, quality, and profitability
  • Serve as the commercial and customer-facing leader for automotive electronics and mechatronic products, effectively communicating technical product information related to electronic latches, spindles, drives, controls, and related systems
  • Identify and evaluate market trends, customer needs, upcoming opportunities, and sales potential within the automotive electronics business
  • Develop short-, mid-, and long-term customer plans related to sales volume, revenue, profitability, and business growth and implement countermeasures when targets are not achieved
  • Lead and develop Program Managers and Account Managers while providing direction to a broader cross-functional customer team
  • Plan and manage annual budgets, monitor performance against business targets, and implement corrective actions when necessary

Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience within the automotive industry, including customer-facing, sales, business development, program/project management, or engineering responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience with automotive electronics, electrical systems, or mechatronic products; previous experience in electronics engineering, electronics sales engineering, technical sales, or a related electronics-focused role strongly preferred
  • Strong automotive customer and sales experience, including customer relationship management, business acquisition, quotations, pricing, negotiations, and commercial strategy
  • Proven project/program management experience with the ability to lead complex automotive programs and cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and clearly communicate electronic and mechatronic product information to both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders
  • Previous leadership experience with responsibility for developing employees and leading Account Managers, Program Managers, or similar professionals
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of profitability, market conditions, competition, budgeting, and strategic business planning
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with customer executives, engineering teams, purchasing organizations, and internal leadership
  • Strategic and results-oriented mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities, manage competing priorities, and drive customer and business objectives
