  • Develop and expand relationships with manufacturers, maquiladoras, nearshoring organizations, and strategic customers operating in the region.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert for cross-border Road Logistics solutions and market trends.
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle, from initial discovery through implementation and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Air, Ocean, Customs, and Contract Logistics teams to uncover and convert shared customer opportunities.
  • Design customer-centric transportation and supply chain solutions that address complex cross-border requirements.
  • Build and execute a strategic growth plan for the Southern California/Baja California corridor.
  • Analyze customer portfolios and market trends to identify high-potential growth opportunities.
  • Support tender and proposal activities by providing market expertise and solution recommendations.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to strengthen Kuehne+Nagel's cross-border value proposition and competitive positioning.
  • Represent Kuehne+Nagel at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities throughout the region.
  • Develop executive-level customer relationships that lead to long-term business growth.
  • Operate independently and create structure, priorities, and action plans in a dynamic growth environment.
  • Leverage existing customer and industry relationships to accelerate market penetration and revenue generation.
  • Deliver measurable revenue growth through strategic account development and cross-functional collaboration.

What we would like you to bring

  • Strong expertise in U.S.-Mexico cross-border transportation and supply chain operations, particularly within the Southern California and Baja California corridor.
  • Proven experience developing business within manufacturing, maquiladora, IMMEX, nearshoring, or industrial customer environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales opportunities from qualification through implementation and customer onboarding.
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and create strategic plans with limited supervision.
