Director of Crisis Services Full-Time, Onsite in Bremerton, WA Exempt (Salaried): $107,910.40 - $137,592 Per Year $3,000 Sign-On Bonus* Benefits at a Glance • Comprehensive Coverage: Health, Dental & Vision • Generous PTO: Up to 19 days + 2 mental health days + 10 holidays (pro-rated for part-time) • Fully Paid YMCA Membership for you and eligible family members • Company-Paid Life & Disability Insurance • Student Loan Assistance & Professional Development • 403(b) Retirement Plan with Company Contributions • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Pet Insurance • Free Wellness App (2MorrowHealth) • Collaborative, Supportive Team Environment Primary Responsibilities: • Provide administrative and clinical leadership for crisis services programs, including the Crisis Triage Center (CTC), Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT), and Youth Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (YMCOT). • Ensure coordination and continuity of care across crisis programs and other KMHS services. • Support smooth transitions between programs and levels of care. • Ensure adequate psychiatric consultation and clinical coverage for assigned programs. • Provide ongoing supervision, support, and direction to program managers and other direct reports. • Recruit, hire, develop, coach, and retain qualified staff. • Conduct performance management activities and support annual performance review processes. • Establish annual program goals and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. • Participate in quality review activities and performance improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with agency directors, managers, and supervisors to develop and monitor program budgets. • Support efforts to maximize revenue, maintain meaningful operational data, and address facility needs. • Implement and monitor agency administrative and clinical policies. • Ensure clinical documentation is completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with regulatory requirements. • Identify community needs and support the development of services that address gaps in behavioral healthcare. • Represent KMHS in community partnerships, service planning efforts, and professional collaborations. • Serve as a liaison between KMHS and community agencies, providers, and stakeholders. • Support the development and implementation of county and regional behavioral health plans. • Ensure programs operate in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and contractual requirements. • Participate in organizational visioning, strategic planning, and long-term goal development. • Contribute to the development and implementation of the agency's treatment philosophy. • Promote positive staff engagement through responsive leadership and effective communication. • Participate in community relations activities that advance KMHS's mission and strategic goals. Minimum Qualifications: EDUCATION: Master's degree in psychology, social services, or other behavioral health fields. EXPERIENCE: Specialist - minimum 5 years of supervisory and administrative experience Experience in community mental health. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION: Agency Affiliated Counselor Registration. Must meet and maintain the definition of a Mental Health Professional as defined in WAC [redacted]. Must maintain a Washington State Department of Health license in good standing. Preferred Qualifications: EXPERIENCE: Expert - established subject matter expert with 7+ years of relevant experience. Previous budget management experience. LICENSURE: Washington License (LICSW, LMFT, or LMHC). Performance Requirements: KNOWLEDGE: • Regulatory knowledge of governmental process, both federal and state. SKILLS: • Ability to provide leadership and in the mentoring of subordinates. • Communicates clearly and concisely. Mental/Physical Requirements: While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee is required to: • Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. • Lift, carry, push, and pull: • Up to 10 pounds (frequently) • Up to 20 pounds (occasionally) • Up to 50 pounds (seldom) • Use hands and arms for reaching, handling, and manipulation, including reaching above shoulder level. • Have visual acuity and peripheral vision sufficient to read written materials and observe surroundings. • Have hearing sufficient to communicate effectively. *A sign-on bonus is a form of compensation for a new employee in addition to their established salary. Bonus amounts are prorated by FTE, and any changes to FTE before all bonus installments are paid may alter the total payout.
