Director of Crisis Residential ServicesThe Director of Crisis Residential Services will oversee operations of a designated Crisis Residential Facility, reporting to the Senior Director of Crisis Residential Services. The Director will ensure facility compliance with state and federal regulations, organizational policy and procedures and that licensed personnel follow board standards. The Director will provide oversight of day-to-day operations of the facility and provide guidance for all staff employed at the Crisis Facility. This Director will provide supervision and guidance to the members of the facility's crisis services team. The Crisis Facility operates 24/7/365.
You will get to: - Oversee all daily operations of the crisis residential facility to ensure compliance with licensing and organizational policies. Assist in minimizing risk within the program and ensure patient care is provided at the highest level.
- Provide supervision to team members under their leadership for the facility. Work closely to ensure programmatic requirements are met, provide support to all team members cohesively and communicate daily on status and milieu of the facility.
- Assist in maintaining, revising and presenting division policy and procedures. Provide training to each employee on all updates with policy and procedures and/or TAC standards.
- Work closely with the Process Improvement Manager to develop, implement and monitor performance improvement plans to enhance clinical outcomes and meet desired outcomes.
- Review samples of patient documentation/EHR, injury/incident reports of patients and staff, and daily census reports. Submit quarterly reporting to required entities based on contract requirements and TAC regulations, to include quarterly report for the Board of Directors.
- Review and provide justifications/explanations as requested on Financial Statements when received.
- Provide oversight of contracts implemented for services at the facility. Assist the Contracts Department with updates and renewals needed as well as any specific information required.
- Participate in the nursing committee meetings as required by TAC standards for the Crisis Residential Division.
- Chair the Safety Committee and conduct quarterly meetings to address specified agenda topics.
- Complete risk management assessments quarterly, monitors infection control programs and ensure all employees follow all policies and protocols to maintain a safe environment.
- Conduct monthly meetings with staff (Crisis Care Specialist, LPHA's, Social Workers and Admin staff) to ensure program compliance updates are shared, any training needed is conducted, safety issues are addressed, scheduling of the facility follows policy and any other topics needing to be discussed.
- Support the Nurse Manager/Supervisor to ensure scheduling of the Registered Nurses (RN's) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to always provide adequate coverage for the facility.
- Instill a sense of accountability among team members by modeling oversight of individual and organizational performance standards.
You'll definitely need: - Master's degree in social work, Counseling, Business Administration or other related fields.
- Minimum 2 years of Supervisory experience, specifically in a mental health environment, with some crisis experience and ability to work a flexible schedule
- Intermediate computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, EHR systems.
- Complete and maintain both CPR certification and Prevention and Management of Aggressive Behavior training within the first 3 months of employment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Maintain valid Texas driver's license and Automobile Insurance.
