Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Director of Clinical Research in Tulsa, OK.

  • Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women's Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.

  • The Director of Clinical Research provides strategic leadership for cardiovascular research, clinical trials, data registries, and research compliance activities across the organization.
  • The position directs programs that advance clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, and evidence-based practice.
  • This role maintains accountability for research operations, program performance, and team effectiveness while fostering collaboration among physicians, clinicians, sponsors, and regulatory stakeholders.
  • The Director of Clinical Research contributes to organizational growth by promoting high-quality research and data-driven decision making.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Clinical Research, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cardiology, clinical research, healthcare operations, or a related specialty.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing staff or programs.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
  • Knowledge of clinical research regulations, Good Clinical Practice standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Skill in program management, data analysis, and process improvement.
  • Ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience directing cardiovascular research, registry management, or quality outcomes programs.
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP), Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP), or Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) certification.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular service line operations and outcomes reporting methodologies.
