Full Job Description
Leads the development, implementation, and maintenance of system-wide clinical quality programs. Provides expertise, guidance, education, and resources to hospitals to achieve clinical excellence goals. Oversees the ongoing quality management and analysis of complex healthcare information from various internal and external sources. Ensures compliance with quality regulations and achievement of identified success metrics. Communicates relevant details and updates to senior leaders and market leaders. Collaborates with executives, directors, and IT leaders to reflect the quality of care within the electronic medical record. Coordinates the assessment of areas of opportunity within each market related to system-wide success metrics. Guides improvement recommendations based on assessments. Integrates clinical knowledge and observations from various data sources to direct approaches towards care standardization and best practices. Monitors and ensures the accuracy and quality of data used for clinical reporting and quality initiatives. Promotes exceptional customer service by maintaining a professional high-quality image through expertise and responsiveness. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Detailed knowledge of clinical quality regulatory programs, measurement, and analytics including, but not limited to CMS quality programs, Value Based Purchasing, Bundle Payment models, NHSN outcomes, and Leapfrog [Required]• Current knowledge of issues in the healthcare environment, particularly regarding quality measurement (electronic and abstracted), clinical outcomes, Promoting Interoperability, patient experience, high reliability, and healthcare coding/billing [Required]• Strong organizational skills with the ability to focus efforts across multiple simultaneous projects and re-prioritize to achieve organizational goals [Required]• Proficient in developing and leveraging relationships within and across inter-disciplinary work groups, including physicians [Required]• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills [Required]• Strong leadership skills including communication, public speaking, team building and development [Required]• Ability to tailor messages and education to individuals and audiences throughout the organization with differing knowledge levels [Required]• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Visio) and data management applications [Required]• Knowledge of state/federal regulatory agencies, accreditation standards and national society clinical guidelines [Preferred]
Education:
• Master's [Required]
Field of Study:
• in nursing or healthcare related field

Work Experience:
• 3+ years progressive leadership experience [Required]• 5+ years of clinical quality program and measurement experience in a healthcare system [Required]• Strong clinical background with five or more years hospital clinical experience [Required]
Additional Information:
Certified in a Performance Improvement methodology such as: Lean, Six Sigma, Change Management

Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]• Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) [Preferred]• Six Sigma [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$110,702.15 - $205,911.28
