  • Supervise Nurse Supervisors at satellite clinic locations
  • Schedule volunteer nurses and physicians for clinic coverage
  • Ensure adequate medical supplies are maintained at all clinic sites
  • Coordinate annual maintenance of ultrasound equipment
  • Train and supervise volunteer nurses, including ultrasound training
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards
  • Perform ultrasounds as needed
  • Counsel clients in person and by phone with compassion and professionalism

Director of Clinic Services Key Responsibilities Clinical Operations & Leadership • Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow • Maintain orderly client records and clinic visit processes • Implement Medical Director standing orders accurately and completely • Supervise Nurse Supervisors at satellite clinic locations • Schedule volunteer nurses and physicians for clinic coverage • Ensure adequate medical supplies are maintained at all clinic sites • Coordinate annual maintenance of ultrasound equipment Staff & Volunteer Management • Participate in recruitment and interviews of volunteer physicians and RNs • Train and supervise volunteer nurses, including ultrasound training • Oversee ongoing RN education, policies, and procedures • Monitor licensure, CPR certification, and continuing education compliance for medical personnel Compliance & Quality Assurance • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards • Supervise clinic chart reviews and policy updates • Ensure adherence to guidelines from AWHONN, ACOG, and AIUM • Oversee client follow-up procedures and continuity of care Client Care & Community Engagement • Perform ultrasounds as needed • Counsel clients in person and by phone with compassion and professionalism • Serve as a representative in the Speaker's Bureau • Contribute a column to the quarterly Pulsebeat newsletter Qualifications • Current RN license in good standing in the State of Texas • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred • Experience performing 1st and 2nd trimester ultrasounds preferred, but not required • Strong judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills • Ability to recognize limitations and seek assistance appropriately • Commitment to the mission and values of Thrive Women's Clinic Desired Attributes • Compassionate and servant-hearted leadership style • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-focused environment • Passion for empowering women and supporting families through life-affirming care
