Department: Campus Solutions Svc Salary: $115,000.00 - $132,250.00
Description:

Provides leadership and strategic direction for the Campus Solutions Services (CSS) Portfolio Management Office and operational governance functions. Serves as a key change agent focusing on continuous improvement of project delivery, production support services, organizational performance, and reporting of key performance indicators.

1. Fosters a supportive culture that establishes a formal work management framework as a core business process to ensure the successful delivery of projects, operational work, and strategic initiatives.
2. Monitors, trains and guides managers and teams as they adopt and implement work management best practices.
3. Participates in the strategic cross-functional management discussions to align CSS projects, production support services, and operational priorities with organizational goals and strategic objectives.
4. Leads the evaluation and improvement of work management processes and tools, monitors operational and project performance metrics, and drives continuous improvements to increase organizational effectiveness and service delivery.
5. Defines and maintains key performance indicators, operational metrics, and reporting frameworks that measure organizational performance, project delivery, and production support effectiveness.
6. Oversees the development, analysis, and dissemination of performance reports, dashboards, metrics, and insights to support strategic and operational objectives.
7. Sets and implements policies and procedures in support of division standards and industry best practices.
8. Establishes a training framework that ensures the department cultivates and maintains skilled resources in project delivery, production support, and operational best practices.
9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Education; Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Experience: Requires a minimum of seven (7) years of directly job-related experience

FULLY REMOTE (Houston Area). While this position is remote, candidates must reside in Houston or the Greater Houston area to be eligible for consideration, in accordance with university policy, as occasional on-campus presence may be required.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Directs and manages functional analysis support for Institutional Reporting, ensuring the alignment of data extraction, analytics, and enterprise reporting with university strategic goals and regulatory standards.
• Serves as the primary administrator and architect for the department's Smartsheet portfolio repository, designing automated workflows, executive dashboards, and standardized templates to streamline project delivery and operational tracking.

Strong preference for experience in the following software and skills:
• PMP Certification
• Smartsheet work management tool
• Demonstrated leadership experience
