Why We Need Your Talents:

As the Director of Cage, Drop/Count, and Credit Operations, you will set the strategic vision and ensure flawless execution across all three critical areas. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and financial integrity while fostering a culture of accountability and exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in optimizing processes, managing risk, and leveraging data insights to enhance revenue and efficiency. You will be the key architect behind robust cash management systems, high-performing teams, and innovative solutions that adapt to evolving regulations and market demands.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Ensure that Cage, Credit and Drop/Count operations are conducted in a secure, efficient and accountable manner and in compliance with all relevant procedural & legal requirements, while delivering exemplary levels of customer service.
  • Analyze and interpret trends associated with Cage & Credit operations, to maximize revenues and customer service scores while minimizing operating costs.
  • Analyze Drop/Count data and processes to minimize operational costs and comply with internal and State requirements.
  • Display a thorough knowledge of all Title 31 and BSA regulations as they relate to cage operations.
  • Develops and manages both operational and capital budgets for each functional area.
  • Adapt operations to accommodate new regulatory and marketing program changes.
  • Develop strong department management and high performing line level staff through recruitment, training, and performance evaluation processes.
  • Oversee purchase and maintenance of all related equipment, including but not limited to: ATM/Ticket Redemption Units, Count Room Equipment, Jackpot Dispenser Units, and Employee Cash Recyclers.
  • Develop and monitor effective cash management.
  • Ensuring that all state and federal guidelines for casino banking are being followed.
  • Effective liaison with other Casino departments, contractors and service providers, other Casino Cages and Casino regulatory authorities
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:
  • Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
  • Experience with Aristocrat Oasis Slot System, Newave, and ABACUS cage software preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
  • Ability to solve complex documents and understand state and local tax laws, banking codes, gaming laws and regulations.
  • Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures in an interruptive environment.
  • Ability to solve complex problems.


Qualifications

Must-Haves:
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of leadership experience in casino cage operations.
  • A four (4)-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting, standing, walking
