Full Job Description

Access is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused sales leader to help drive growth across our Florida destinations. As the Director of Business Development, you'll be responsible for cultivating high-value hotel partnerships, expanding key client relationships, and developing new business opportunities that position your market for long-term success.

This role is a unique blend of strategic business development, sales leadership, and relationship management. You'll work closely with hotel partners, clients, and internal teams to generate new opportunities, support the market's sales strategy, and deliver exceptional client experiences. You'll also play an important role in mentoring sales talent and helping your territory achieve ambitious revenue and growth goals.

This role is based out of Orlando and requires travel throughout your market for client meetings, hotel partner visits, networking events, industry conferences, and team collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and strengthen strategic partnerships with key hotels, securing preferred and exclusive agreements that generate long-term business.
  • Build and grow your own portfolio of client relationships through prospecting, referrals, and national opportunities.
  • Lead business development efforts within your market by driving self-generated opportunities, hotel-generated leads, and Inner Office Referrals (IORs).
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for your market's top hotel partners through regular meetings, networking events, and strategic outreach.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative and Events teams to ensure an exceptional client experience from proposal through execution.
  • Support winning sales strategies on complex opportunities and major client accounts.
  • Track pipeline health, sales performance, and key metrics through Salesforce, using data to guide business decisions.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support Business Development team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing sales culture.
  • Represent Access throughout your local market, strengthening our brand and expanding strategic partnerships.

COMPENSATION
  • Highly competitive total compensation, including strong base salary and quarterly bonuses
