Full Job Description
What You Will Do

- JOB SUMMARY -This role is responsible for building and leading a world-class Asset Reliability System while enabling the successful execution of the factory initiatives program and the early IOS implementation in the upcoming initiatives. The position owns the end-to-end asset reliability strategy, including maintenance transformation, reliability engineering, and early equipment management, ensuring that all assets deliver sustained performance and that new initiatives are deployed with stability from day one. In addition, the role plays a critical part in synchronizing and enabling major initiatives (CBN delivery) by embedding technical excellence, maintenance strategies, and IOS equipment readiness into all project phases. This role acts as the technical backbone of IOS performed in a preventive and proactive way, driving loss elimination, capability building, and operational discipline across new initiatives before entering the factory.

Asset Reliability System Ownership - Define and lead plant-wide reliability strategy. Own KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, uptime, breakdown elimination). Establish asset hierarchy and RCM. Lead RCA to eliminate chronic losses.

Maintenance Transformation - Lead maintenance teams (technicians, supervisors, leads). Shift from reactive to preventive/predictive with >90% PM compliance. Strengthen planning, scheduling, and spare parts optimization.

Early Equipment Management (EEM) - Ensure all new equipment launches include maintenance strategies, parts/BOM readiness, and documentation. Partner with Engineering/Operations for strong startups and stable performance.

Initiatives Enablement & CBN Delivery - Support >£250MM initiatives by aligning reliability, technical readiness, and execution. Integrate IOS standards into projects.

IOS Technical Leadership - Lead reliability pillar; integrate Autonomous Maintenance, quality, and safety to drive loss elimination aligned with CBN.

Qualifications

- REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant manufacturing experience
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in maintenance, reliability, or operations
  • Strong experience in IOS / IWS / TPM or equivalent systems
  • Proven track record in maintenance transformation and reliability improvement

Knowledge of
  • Asset reliability systems and RCM methodologies
  • Preventive and predictive maintenance
  • Early Equipment Management
  • Loss elimination and root cause analysis
  • Manufacturing excellence / IOS / Lean / TPM
  • Program and project management (supporting role)

- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Certification in TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or Reliability Engineering
  • Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments
  • Experience in unionized environments


Work Environment and Physical Demand

  • Requires moderate physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves moderate to heavy weight objects (10 - 50 lbs.)
  • Stand and/or sit for prolonged periods
  • Requires prolonged machine operation including computer and keyboard equipment
  • Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Work with equipment or perform procedures where carelessness may result in injury
  • Experience exposure to uncomfortable work environment due to extreme temperature, noise level, and other conditions including second-hand smoke and/or vape

Annual Base Salary Range: $ 160563.00 -

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for annual bonus or incentive compensation.
