In this role, you'll:- Lead and develop a team that includes a Senior Asset Manager, Residential Facilities Liaison and Portfolio Financial Analyst,
- Oversee financial and operational performance across the portfolio, including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, reserves, and key performance indicators.
- Proactively identify risks, opportunities, and underperforming assets and drive action toward resolution.
- Partner across Property Management, Real Estate Development, Finance, Resident Services, and other teams on complex portfolio issues.
- Ensure lender, investor, partner, and regulatory obligations are effectively managed.
- Support broader portfolio strategies, including refinancing, recapitalization, resyndication, and repositioning.
- Strengthen systems, reporting, and processes that support effective portfolio oversight and decision-making.
We're looking for someone who brings:- Significant experience in real estate asset management, portfolio management, or real estate finance.
- Strong knowledge of affordable housing and its financial and operating structures.
- Excellent financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supervising and developing professional staff.
- The ability to see the big picture while knowing when to dig into the details.
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and the ability to move complex issues forward.

The Director of Asset Management plays a critical role in that stewardship. Working in partnership with the Vice President of Asset Management, this position ensures that our portfolio strategy is supported by disciplined execution, strong financial oversight, proactive risk management, and a high-performing Asset Management team.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is $135,000-$150,000 annually. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
