DescriptionEssential duties and responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Perform accounting functions as assigned including, revenue, cost of goods sold, cash, cash applied to A/R and A/P, and bad debt allowance on a monthly basis. Back-up month-end duties assigned to other Senior Accountants.
• Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly management reports and accompanying schedules, worksheets and narratives, including "Budget vs. Actual" variance reports. Provide follow-up and documentation of significant variances.
• Test and receive final approval for system reports required for management, financial reporting and general ledger reconciliations.
• Responsible for month end workbook reconciliations for assigned entities and P&L analysis for assigned entities.
• Responsible for sales tax filings for assigned entities.
• Serve as contact person for general manager and operation personal working for assigned entities and demonstrate a working knowledge of the business of each entity and provide timely and accurate responses to finance and accounting related questions.
• Serve as a integrated teammate with the AR and AP team members working on assigned entities.
• Coordinate and resolve various issues with bank such as cleared check differences, bank fee anomalies, targeted balance calculations and enhancements to online services.
• Conform with and abide by all regulatory guidance and internal policies & procedures.
• Document policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Maintain project log for Senior Accountant position.
• Contribute to department and organization special projects as assigned.

• Serve as a role model for ethical conduct within the Finance and Accounting team by promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

RequirementsMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
• 8-12+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable or finance, including leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and financial systems
• Proficient with ERP systems (e.g., Business Central)
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to develop and mentor staff
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Advance in AI adoption
