Full Job Description
Location: Scottsdale, AZ 85255

Team Members are expected to work in-office at least three days per week, with additional in-office days required as business needs dictate.

This is a highly visible role that partners across Finance, Investor Relations, and broader business teams, with exposure to executive leadership and key initiatives - including audit support, SEC reporting, SOX-compliant internal controls, and readiness for future growth.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Oversee general ledger activity, account reconciliations, flux analysis, and audit schedules
  • Serve as the primary accounting lead across key areas, including general ledger, lease, labor, revenue, and corporate G&A
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Partner with external auditors and support quarterly and annual audit requirements
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations on reporting deliverables, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of SOX-compliant internal controls
  • Drive consistency in accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team of Financial Accountants
  • Act as the Workday Finance SME, owning system processes, configurations, and enhancements
  • Partner on the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and operational efficiency


What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA designation is required; active or inactive status acceptable
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and team leadership
  • Strong SEC reporting experience, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings
  • Deep understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements, and financial reporting standards
  • Experience supporting SOX-compliant internal control environments
  • Experience leading month-end close in a complex, multi-entity environment
  • Strong systems experience; Workday is preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results
  • Proven ability to lead teams, influence cross-functional partners, and communicate effectively at all levels
