Director of Account Management to their Acentria team in Ormond Beach, FL.

Job Summary:

The Director of Employee Benefits Account Management provides strategic leadership, oversees their designated account management team, ensures exceptional client service, and drives operational excellence.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Account Management team
  • Develop and execute team strategy and performance metrics
  • Serve as executive oversight for key clients
  • Oversee renewal strategy and service quality
  • Partner with sales and operations teams
  • Create and maintain strong carrier partnerships
  • Ensure designated team's clients' compliance requirements are satisfactory and up to date
  • Manage staffing, training, and team planning
  • Drive process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Manage book of business for large size clients
  • Lead renewal strategy and negotiate with carriers
  • Deliver client presentations and open enrollment materials
  • Manage escalations and resolve complex issues
  • Analyze claims data and funding strategies
  • Prepare spreadsheets, proposals, and enrollment materials
  • Other duties as assigned

Competencies & Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Expert knowledge of medical (fully insured and self-funding), dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefits

Education & Experience:
  • 5+ years in employee benefits account management
  • 2+ years managing teams
  • State Health & Life license required
