Job Summary

Director of Marketing - The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the Marketing Team and managing vendor partners to deliver quality events, create brand awareness in the marketplace, create interest in new product launches, and generate demand for T2 solutions. The Director will work directly with Product Managers, Sales Leaders, and other leaders in the company to develop strategic marketing plans and lead tactical efforts to achieve results.

Responsibilities
  • Manages a team of marketing professionals that includes event management, product marketing, demand generation, and marketing communications.
  • Manages marketing budget to support all related marketing functions
  • Communicates the value proposition of T2 solutions and serves as subject matter expert on T2 solutions in industry.
  • Oversees go-to-market programs to promote T2 solutions in alignment with buying process.
  • Oversees sales enablement and associated demand generation activities including managing marketing material development and content creation for sales presentations, datasheets, webinars, proposal content, and training.
  • Ensures development of value props, product positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates the T2 brand and solution portfolio in the marketplace.
  • Researches, analyzes, and monitors industry trends so the impact of competitive activity is minimized.
  • Assists in market analysis including win/loss analysis, competitive landscape, and understanding distinctive competencies.
  • Monitors success of webinars, campaigns, and other marketing activities.
  • Develops and maintains buyer and user personas. Understands and incorporates the customer problems we solve in the development of complete messaging to promote T2solutions.

Education and Qualifications
  • BS/BA in Marketing or related field and five (5) years of experience in Product Marketing, Communications or Demand Generation.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading marketing for a SaaS or tech-enabled solutions company.
  • Experience in successfully developing and deploying marketing programs.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who is able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Available to travel in support of events, tradeshows, and customer meetings.
  • Strong communication (writing), creative thinking and presentation skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to comprehend and work with complex technical concepts
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications especially PowerPoint
