Full Job Description
The Purpose of Your Role as the Director of Manufacturing

You'll own how manufacturing performs and scales across the company. This role is responsible for aligning multiple facilities into a consistent, high-performing system that can support both internal construction work and external manufacturing customers. You'll set direction for plant leadership, define what good looks like across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and ensure the infrastructure and capacity are in place to support growth. This is about building a manufacturing operation that is repeatable, reliable, and able to scale across regions.

What You'll Be Part Of

You'll be at the center of how manufacturing connects to the rest of the business, helping align strategy with execution across teams and locations.
  • Working closely with engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain, estimating, product management, and construction to ensure alignment between design and production
  • Leading and aligning plant managers across multiple facilities through both direct and dotted-line relationships
  • Establishing consistent operating standards and performance expectations across locations
  • Driving improvements in throughput, capacity, and overall system performance by identifying and removing constraints
  • Supporting expansion into new regions, including facility planning, startup strategy, and long-term footprint decisions
  • Helping shift the organization toward more standardized, product-driven manufacturing where it makes sense

This is not about running one plant. It's about ensuring multiple operations perform as one.

What We're Looking For in You
  • Senior leadership experience overseeing multi-facility manufacturing or fabrication operations.
  • A solid background in mechanical fabrication, modular construction, or industrialized construction.
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, capacity planning, and production flow
  • Ability to influence and align teams across regions
  • Experience working across manufacturing, engineering, and construction environments
  • A practical, outcomes-focused approach to leadership

This role is for someone who wants ownership at a systems level. Someone who can bring structure, drive performance, and help shape how manufacturing grows across the business.
