Director, Managed Services Solution & Strategy

The Director, Managed Services Solutions & Strategy is responsible for leading the implementation of strategic solutions that support the growth, scalability, and operational excellence of Managed Services. Reporting directly to the EVP of Managed Services, this role provides leadership for solution delivery, integrations, operational enhancements, technology initiatives, business analysis, automation, and innovation across the department.

As a member of the Managed Services leadership team, this role helps define strategic priorities while ensuring successful execution of key business initiatives.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Serve as a member of the Managed Services leadership team.
• Partner with the EVP of Managed Services to support departmental strategy, growth, and scalability.
• Provide leadership, prioritization, and governance for implementation activities to ensure successful execution and client outcomes.
• Lead the Managed Services Solutions function and provide strategic direction for solution delivery across the organization.
• Oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives, operational enhancements, technology solutions, and process improvements.
• Build and lead the Managed Services Solutions function, including oversight, coaching, and development of team members as the organization grows.
• Act as the primary business analyst for Managed Services initiatives, gathering and documenting business requirements for client requests, operational enhancements, and technology projects.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvement, workflow optimization, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
• Support sales and business development efforts through prospect meetings, solution discussions, and operational due diligence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders while communicating effectively and professionally.

Workflow Management

• Actively manage assigned projects and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor project progress and remove obstacles impacting delivery.
• Ensure project objectives and deadlines are achieved.

Knowledge Management

• Demonstrate expertise in Managed Services operations and client servicing.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, automation tools, and AI capabilities.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, process documentation, and procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for operational transformation and solution design.
• Take a proactive approach to learning and knowledge sharing.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of financial services, trust, custody, wealth management, or investment operations experience.
• Experience leading business analysis, strategic initiatives, operational improvements, or product development efforts.
• Experience with client conversions, system implementations, integrations, and technology-enabled solutions.
• Strong communication, analytical, project management, and relationship management skills.
• Experience with automation and AI-driven process improvement preferred.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.

Colorado: The expected base salary for the position is between 150000 USD to 185000 USD. Massachusetts: The expected base salary for the position is between 150000 USD to 185000 USD.

 

 

In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company’s discretion.
