Job Description Summary:

Position Summary:
As Director, Logistics Procurement, you will act as a key individual contributor responsible for designing and executing procurement strategies for logistics services across North and Latin America. You will support the expansion of our Global Logistics Services footprint by collaborating with multiple stakeholders, delivering value through expertise and strong relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement logistics sourcing and procurement strategies for North and Latin America, in alignment with the organization's global and regional needs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for business units, supply chain teams, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring their requirements are integrated into strategic planning and execution.
  • Lead high-impact sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities for logistics and transportation services.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and emerging logistics solutions to recommend initiatives that optimize spend and performance.
  • Identify and support opportunities for process improvements, sustainability, and cost reduction within logistics procurement.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations to senior leaders to enable informed decision-making and advance business growth strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders in various operating units and regions, championing best practices and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent curriculum. Master's degree preferred
  • Related Work Experience: 7-10+ years of demonstrated progression with global logistics provider and/or multinational FMCG company
  • Solid experience in logistics, transportation procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, ideally with multi-country exposure.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex negotiations and managing relationships with suppliers and internal clients.
  • Ability to drive projects and initiatives independently, while operating with an enterprise and collaborative mindset.
  • Skilled in data analysis, market research, and development of procurement strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred.
