Opportunity at a Glance Reporting to the VP of Talent, the Director, Learning & Skills at Scale leads the design and delivery of an enterprise-wide, future-focused learning and skills strategy - built to Grow Faster, Demand More, Hire Better, and Inspire Deeply. This role owns the end-to-end learning and skills ecosystem at scale, leading two direct reports - the Sr. Manager, Leadership Development and the Sr. Manager, Skills Development - to build a scalable leadership pipeline, curate skills-based learning journeys, drive manager effectiveness, and oversee vendor management and program delivery. The Director will leverage AI-enabled and adaptive learning technologies to personalize development, embed future-of-work thinking into everything the team builds, and track learning and skills KPIs to demonstrate measurable business impact.
Responsibilities- Learning & Skills Strategy: Design and lead an enterprise-wide, future-focused learning and skills strategy that scales leadership development and skills-building capabilities across the organization, anchored in a Future of Work (FoW) framework: Grow Faster, Demand More, Hire Better, Inspire Deeply.
- Program Delivery Oversight: Own end-to-end delivery of the Learning & Skills portfolio, developing project plans with clear milestones, budgets, resourcing, and KPIs across both the Leadership Development and Skills Development workstreams.
- Leadership Development: Direct the strategy and execution of leadership development programs across the full leadership continuum - from emerging leaders to executives - building a scalable, future-ready leadership pipeline through the Sr. Manager, Leadership Development.
- Manager Effectiveness: Drive manager effectiveness programs that equip people leaders with modern, human-centered capabilities - coaching, feedback, change leadership, and team development - to lead high-performing teams at scale.
- Skills Development & Learning Journey Curation: Oversee the curation of skills-based learning journeys and content through the Sr. Manager, Skills Development, leveraging AI-enabled and adaptive learning technologies to personalize skill-building at scale.
- Vendor & Partner Management: Lead vendor selection, contracting, and relationship management with learning technology and content providers, ensuring best-in-class, cost-effective, and future-forward solutions.
- Future of Work Enablement: Partner with senior business and HR leaders to anticipate emerging skill needs and evolving work models, embedding future-of-work thinking and emerging technology (including AI) into the learning and skills strategy.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the Learning & Skills organization, including the Sr. Manager, Leadership Development and Sr. Manager, Skills Development, fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture.
- Metrics & Impact: Establish and track learning and skills KPIs - including learning journey completion, skill-proficiency growth, program ROI, and business impact - to continuously improve program effectiveness at scale
- Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required or Master's Degree Organization Development or related field preferred
- 7+ years in talent management or human resources required
- Strong expertise in modern talent practices including succession planning, high-potential development, and strategic workforce planning
- Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence stakeholders across all levels of an organization
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align talent solutions with business goals and stay ahead of emerging trends
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and leaders
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $175,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
