Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the K12-focused Solution Consultant Team across multiple K12 business units.
  • Mentor, train, and assess team members to keep them engaged, motivated, and successful.
  • Develop individual growth and development plans for team members and monitor progress.
  • Define goals and performance metrics, aligning with overall business objectives.
  • Foster collaboration within the team and direct K12-focused initiatives.
  • Manage team processes, procedures, and operational efficiencies.
  • Help shape and guide the overarching Tyler One K12 vision
  • Provide guidance to the team in navigating complex customer environments and evaluations.
  • Lead the team in crafting compelling sales messaging and ensuring effective efforts to win opportunities.
  • Present Tyler's solutions to customers, positioning them as the preferred choice over competitors.
  • Act as an escalation point, working with pre-sales and post-sales teams to resolve customer issues
  • Collaborate with Solution Consultant managers to allocate resources for projects.
  • Work closely with product management and technical teams to provide feedback on customer needs and product development.
  • Develop and implement strategies with the sales team to accelerate growth, focusing on key verticals, markets, and solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve competitor intel to help with competitive sales scenarios.
  • Engage with customers at all levels, from end users to CIOs, to understand their needs and ensure Tyler's solutions are aligned with their goals.
  • Share industry trends and best practices during customer interactions to enhance value and build trust.
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings and continuously position Tyler's products as the superior solution
  • Track and analyze performance
  • Lead and manage multiple direct reports/teams while ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Leverage knowledge of Tyler's products and services to successfully drive sales in the K12 market.
  • Identify and build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers to expand Tyler's market presence.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales teams to refine sales strategies and ensure successful demonstrations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expected to travel 50%-75% of the time for customer engagement, team development, and sales support.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong background in pre-sales Solutions Consulting and Senior System Solutions Consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of the K12 industry, including market trends, competitors, and Tyler's product development roadmap.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and growth targets.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with excellent presentation abilities. Public speaking experience is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while fostering team collaboration.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members.
  • Proficient in general computer literacy and MS Office applications.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on achieving business goals.

Salary will generally fall between $83,524 - $109,900 before adjustment for geographic differences. Recruiter can confirm if position is incentive eligible.
