The Role

In the role of Director, IWMS Market Readiness you will partner with various functional groups across Fidelity Institutional Wealth Management Services (IWMS) including Clearing Sales & Relationship Management, Custody Sales & Relationship Management, Segment Management, CRM Strategy, and Client Experience. The Director will:
  • Maintain custody and clearing programs & processes that are critical for business operations (e.g., Business Acceptance Committee, Rules of Engagement, etc.)
  • Support IWMS GTM & Strategy in executing sales and relationship management strategies
  • Develop processes to more efficiently address programmatic requests from Sales and Relationship Management teams
  • Create connectivity across IWMS and Fidelity Institutional (FI) to align support required to drive favorable business outcomes
  • Maintain supervisory controls and policies that help manage IWMS business unit
  • Drive mission-critical IWMS, FI and cross-enterprise initiatives across custody and clearing client facing teams

The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • 8 plus years of relevant work experience in a sales, relationship management, or distribution function or a functional partner role
  • Bachelors Degree - Required, MBA - Preferred
  • Series 7, 63 Licenses - Required within 90 days
  • Series 24 License - Permitted/Preferred
  • Execution-oriented background with demonstrated experience creating project plans and the implementing the project across a complex organization; a tactician always thinking multiple steps ahead
  • Ownership mindset with experience operating established processes while simultaneously making continuous improvements to them
  • Ability to prioritize both short-term and long-term requests from multiple stakeholders across Sales & Relationship Management
  • Strong consultative, communications and analytical skills
  • Ability to work across the organization and interact/influence/negotiate effectively at all levels of management
  • Deep wealth management industry knowledge and experience with clearing and custody business models

The Team

The Director is a critical member of the Market Readiness organization within IWMS. Market Readiness is responsible for planning and enabling the execution of initiatives that help our clients and prospects engage effectively with IWMS. Key partners include leadership across the Sales & Relationship Management, Marketing, Practice Management, Finance, Legal and Compliance among others.
