Job Summary

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, plans, organizes, controls, and directs the overall operation, management, and administration of the Special Education Department; develops, implements, and evaluates program policies and procedures; develops, administers and monitors the department budget; resolves conflicts among staff, groups, agencies and parents; provides support and training for districts; supervises and evaluates the performance of assigned personnel.

Leadership team members are eligible to receive a $2,500 annual stipend for a master's degree and a $2,500 additional stipend for a doctorate, provided official documentation is submitted.

EXAMINATION PROCEDURES:
Following the final filing date, the most qualified candidates will be invited to participate in an in-person panel interview tentatively scheduled for October 20, 2026. Scheduled dates are subject to change as deemed necessary by Human Resources.
