Our Team, Your ImpactThe Director, IT - Digital Marketing Technology leads the technology strategy, architecture, and delivery roadmap powering omni-channel customer engagement capabilities across US, EU and International Markets. This role sits at the intersection of global and local Commercial/Marketing teams, IT, System Integrators (SI), Managed Service Providers (MSP), and creative/media agencies - translating brand and marketing strategy into scalable data, integration, and platform capabilities that enable true omni-channel execution across HCP, patient, and consumer touchpoints in multiple markets. This leader owns the governance, roadmap, and delivery of modern marketing technology and data stack spanning Salesforce (Data 360, Identity, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Heroku), Veeva Vault CRM, AWS, GA4, and enterprise data lakes - balancing global platform standards with local market and regulatory needs.
This role will be 2-3 days onsite at our Parsippany, NJ officeHow You'll Spend Your Day- Own the technology roadmap for omni-channel marketing capabilities across US, EU and IM, aligning platform investments with global commercial strategy and local market execution requirements.
- Lead architecture and delivery of data integrations connecting Salesforce Data 360, Identify Hub, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Veeva CRM, Vault PromoMats, and enterprise data lakes to support unified customer profiles and cross-market campaign orchestration.
- Partner with global and in-country Marketing/Brand leadership across EU and IM to translate campaign and customer journey requirements into scalable, regionally adaptable technical solutions.
- Manage SI and MSP relationships across regions - scoping work, holding delivery accountable, and managing budget and vendor performance across multiple markets.
- Ensure data governance, identity resolution, and consent management practices meet GDPR and other applicable regional data privacy requirements across NA/EU/IM
- Drive platform strategy for Salesforce and Veeva, ensuring measurement connects back to CRM and campaign data consistently across markets
- Establish and report on global/regional KPIs: campaign execution velocity, data quality and integration uptime, platform adoption, and omni-channel ROI by market
- Build, mentor, and scale a team of 5-6 supporting a distributed, multi-market user base
- Maintain and manager budget related to project, support and platform licensing across regions
- Balance global platform standardization with local market flexibility - establishing governance that prevents fragmentation while enabling market-specific needs
- Champion Agile delivery practices across a cross-functional, matrixed, and geographically distributed environment
- Evaluate and advocate for AI-enabled capabilities that improve campaign speed, personalization, and content operations

- GenAI-assisted content operations - content creation/localization workflows that route through Vault PromoMats and MLR review, particularly valuable for multi-market EU content adaptation
- Next Best Action (NBA) / predictive engagement models - ownership of the data and integration layer feeding NBA capabilities, even where model-building sits with a separate data science function
Your Skills and Experience- Bachelor's degree required
- 10+ years of IT/technology experience, with 5-7+ years specifically in digital/omni-channel/multichannel marketing technology within Life Sciences, pharma, or a comparably regulated industry
- Experience supporting or delivering technology for global/multi-market organizations, ideally with EU market exposure
- Prior leadership experience, including managing a team through managers/leads
- Deep hands-on knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem (Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud/Data 360, Identity, Experience Cloud)
- Proven experience managing SI and MSP relationships, including scoping, governance, and delivery accountability across multiple markets
- Understanding of GDPR and EU data privacy requirements as they apply to marketing/CRM data
- Strong understanding of cloud data architecture (AWS, Heroku) and data lake/integration patterns
- Excellent stakeholder management skills - able to operate credibly with global and in-country Marketing/Brand leadership as well as technical teams
- Comfort working across time zones with EU/IM markets

- Experience with Next Best Action (NBA) or AI-driven personalization programs
- Hands-on familiarity with Veeva Vault CRM/Vault PromoMats
- Experience navigating multi-country regulatory/compliance variance beyond GDPR
- Exposure to GenAI content tooling or CDP/MDM platform implementations
Salary RangeThe annual starting salary for this position is between $164,880 - 206,100 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
