Position OverviewThe Senior Manager of IT - Cybersecurity is responsible for
leading the company's IT and cybersecurity strategy and ensuring effective, secure, and scalable delivery of IT services.This role oversees a
hybrid IT operating model, managing third-party IT service providers while identifying and implementing the right balance of
outsourced and in-house capabilities. The role serves as a trusted advisor to the business, translating operational needs into technology solutions that drive efficiency, security, and growth.
Strategic Leadership- Define and execute the IT and cybersecurity roadmap, aligned with business goals
- Establish a hybrid IT service delivery model, optimizing outsourced services and in-house capabilities
- Lead technology strategy across infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity domains
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence
Service Delivery & Operations- Oversee delivery of reliable, secure, and scalable IT services across multi-site operations
- Manage outsourced IT service providers, including performance, SLAs, and cost efficiency
- Identify opportunities to transition services between external vendors and internal IT resources
- Ensure high-quality support for end users and business operations
Cybersecurity & Compliance- Lead the organization's cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance programs
- Ensure adherence to NIST 800-171, CMMC, and other regulatory requirements
- Oversee incident response, audits, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection
- Promote a culture of security awareness and training
Technology & Infrastructure- Oversee infrastructure including networking, servers, cloud environments, and endpoint systems
- Manage Microsoft ecosystem, Active Directory, ERP systems (Infor, SAP, Dynamics), and related platforms
- Ensure system performance, resilience, and scalability
- Guide implementation of new technologies and infrastructure enhancements
Vendor & Stakeholder Management- Develop and maintain strategic vendor partnerships
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate needs into IT solutions
- Communicate technical strategies and risks clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Team & Financial Management- Lead, mentor, and develop IT personnel and cross-functional teams
- Manage IT budgets (capital and operational), including vendor spend and investment planning
- Ensure effective prioritization of initiatives and resource allocation
Management Responsibilities: YesBasic QualificationsEducation & Experience- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, CISSP, CCSP) preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading IT in a hybrid service delivery environment (outsourced + internal)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Proven experience managing IT strategy, operations, and cybersecurity programs
- Strong experience managing third-party IT vendors and service providers
- Experience across ERP/CRM systems (Infor, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Deep understanding of networking (IP, NAT, routing, security controls) and infrastructure
- Experience with cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on problem solving
- Experience in multi-site environments and after-hours support models
- Strong working knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC)
Additional Requirements- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain U.S. Government security clearance if required
- Travel as needed
- Availability for on-call support as necessary
Physical Demands and Work Environment: Position environment is neutral with low to moderate noise exposure, is a seated position requiring the extended use of a computer and computer equipment. Position may infrequently be required to move equipment and other machinery up to 50 pounds across a room.
