Director, ISC Operations here at Honeywell, you will strategize and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations at our designated site. You will oversee, guide, and track procurement, production, logistics, and distribution processes to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.
You will report directly to our
Sr. Director ISC Operations and you'll work out of our
Richardson, TX location on an
on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency of production and delivery of products, ultimately driving the success of the company. By optimizing productivity, ensuring quality, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, you will contribute to the overall growth and sustainability of the business.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee and track procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution processes at the Richardson Wafer Fabrication factory to ensure efficient management of resources and processes.
- Create and ensure execution of strategies for optimizing the entire supply chain.
- Forecast demand, analyze market trends, and make data-driven recommendations for planning.
- Oversee the management of supplier relationships, contract negotiation, and timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Oversee the streamlining of processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with production, logistics, finance, and other department leadership to ensure alignment.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the integrated supply chain.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and improvement opportunities.
- Provide strong people leadership and development, focusing on nurturing talent and developing a skilled, multi-functional workforce capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly evolving industry.
- Exhibit strong executive presence to effectively communicate and report operational status and strategic initiatives to both upper management and stakeholders.
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) processes as part of the site's growth strategy, contributing to the successful launch and integration of new products into the existing portfolio.
- Utilize an operational background to implement best practices in manufacturing efficiency, cost reduction, and quality assurance.
- Lead large project transitions, coordinating resources and aligning teams to achieve seamless integration of new projects within the operation.
- Drive initiatives in sustainable manufacturing, focusing on the development and growth of new products while minimizing environmental impact and promoting responsible resource use.
- Collaborate effectively within a matrixed, cross-functional organization, fostering partnerships across departments to drive innovation and operational excellence.
- Bring notable experience from the semiconductor industry to enhance our operational strategies and maintain competitiveness in the market.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on integration and optimization.
- Prior experience managing large facilities, ideally with multi-site operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive operational improvements and strategic decision-making.
- Expertise in managing procurement, production, logistics, and distribution processes to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Familiarity with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and other relevant software to support supply chain activities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in supply chain management to maintain competitive advantage.
