Director, Investor Relations

ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Director, Investor Relations based in Billerica, MA. This role will serve as an important link between Quanterix and investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders in the investment community. The Director will continuously develop and help execute the Investor Relations program to ensure stakeholders, including investors, security analysts, senior management, and the Board of Directors, are well-informed about Quanterix's strategic and financial progress. Working closely with the CFO and cross-functional partners, this position will help manage day-to-day investor relations activities, develop external-facing communications, and support consistent messaging across investor interactions. Given Quanterix's dynamic, growth-oriented environment, the successful candidate must be a highly self-directed professional who can anticipate needs, manage priorities independently, and exercise sound judgment while staying closely aligned with senior leadership and company objectives. This role will report to the CFO.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Support the creation of corporate and financial communications, including quarterly earnings press releases and scripts, earnings presentations, Q&A, investor presentations, press releases, IR website updates, backgrounders, and board materials.
• Help develop and execute a targeted investor relations strategy to support the Company's long-term value creation and ensure consistent messaging across investor communications.
• Manage updates to the Company's corporate presentation and support press releases for data releases, scientific meetings, presentations, and publications in close collaboration with Scientific Communications, Marketing and other internal partners.
• Build a strong understanding of the Company's corporate strategy; support clear and compelling communication of that strategy to internal and external audiences, in compliance with corporate policies and securities regulations.
• Support investor targeting efforts and maintain a target investor list. Monitor sell-side analyst models and earnings estimates, and help identify opportunities to expand institutional investor relationships and sell-side coverage.
• Maintain and help manage the IR calendar, including Company and executive participation in investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and analyst/investor visits/meetings. Help create compelling ways to communicate upcoming developments, collaborating across company.
• Collect and analyze market data and prepare periodic feedback reports on stock price, analyst estimates, industry perceptions, and market trends for senior management, the Board and other stakeholders.
• Follow industry, competitor, and customer developments and news flow, including earnings calls and analyst days, and communicate key takeaways to management.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate communications, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• MBA preferred but not required.
• CFA preferred but not required.
• Experience working as a buy-side or sell-side analyst a plus.
• Preferred experience includes working in an investor relations agency or advisory environment, with exposure to a high volume of different company situations and a broad range of approaches to investor communications.
• Some experience in the life science tools space preferred.

• Must be able to travel to investor meetings and conferences as needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to develop clear, accurate executive-level materials with high attention to detail.

• Strong self-starter with the ability to operate with a high degree of independence, prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment, and make thoughtful decisions while seeking input and alignment at the right moments.
• Strong financial and investment analysis skills, oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability.
• Working understanding of financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance and the resulting value for its equity.
• Strong understanding of financial and investment markets with the ability to build relationships with investors, analysts, and internal stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of SEC disclosure requirements and filings, accounting, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of the industry and market trends, competitive intelligence, and consumers.
• Highly organized and thoughtful with strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Pay Range: $190,000 - $225,000 per year
