Job Description:
The Director is instrumental in developing strategies, planning, and ensuring proper implementation of digital marketing programs to meet and exceed client goals. A successful Director will have great attention to detail and be able to take complete ownership of educating junior team members and getting tasks completed to bring value to our DTC client.
Demonstrates strategic insight to develop long-term execution plans from the client's stated business objectives, implement those plans, and achieve key metrics (KPI's) as defined by the client.
An expert in leveraging media analytics to inform decision making, extracting insight/actions from data, and relating the "story" back to the client's business goals while guiding the team in optimizations.
Experience in DTC media strategy planning and buying driven by deep audience understanding.
Cross-channel media experience developing and executing integrated campaigns across TV, Search, Digital, Social, Audio, and Out-of-Home channels, such as Point of Care media.
The Director understands how to build strategic media plans, including the role of TV within the broader media mix, and can effectively connect channels to drive business results.
An innovative problem solver who leads with insights derived from data.
Define product media strategy, managed media mix, and budget allocations across platforms.
Monitor plan and platform performance to continually optimize media strategy.
Strong organizational and leadership capabilities to assign resources, track progress, assist in execution, and consistently manage expectations and deliverables with excellence.
Experience in providing regular insight and training to challenge and develop team members.
Understands business concepts and client objectives to identify organic growth opportunities.
Knowledge and understanding of client business/current issues and marketplace/emerging trends.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, mastery of working and influencing all levels in a matrix environment.
Excellent communication skills, can articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
Critical thinker with the ability to make complex decisions.
Provide regular insight and training to challenge and develop junior team members.
Qualifications
7+ years of integrated media planning and buying experience with recent proven experience in DTC planning and activation required and at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Ability to create and execute a holistic channel approach to planning.
Experience collaborating, presenting and leading communication with media owners, agency business units and creative agency partners.
Proven leadership ability and experience managing a diverse team and developing talent.
Advanced knowledge of media fundamentals and an ability to educate at all levels.
Strong comfort with data, analytics and measurement
Track record of handling big client ambitions
Leads best practices, processes, methodologies, and frameworks for managing client deliverables and building reputation across stakeholders.
In depth knowledge of rare disease and DTC online media industry including ad technology solutions; advertising/publisher ecosystems, data privacy.
Understands data driven media planning and buying approaches.
Seasoned expert with traditional, digital and social strategy and management within healthcare
New York: $90,000.00-$215,000.00
Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
