Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a Director, Industrial Security 1 to lead our Sector Security Operations team. This senior leader will report directly to the Sector Security Director and will be responsible for driving an integrated security strategy across a highly dynamic, diverse, and geographically dispersed organization. This position can be located at the following locations: Palmdale, CA - Melbourne, FL - St. Augustine, FL - El Segundo, CA - Rancho Bernardo, CA

The selected candidate will provide strategic leadership for security operations supporting people, facilities, programs, and business operations across the Aeronautics Systems Sector, while partnering closely with sector and enterprise security leadership, functional partners, and senior business leaders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for a large, geographically dispersed team of managers and security professionals.
  • Foster a cohesive, collaborative, and inclusive team environment where diversity and innovation are encouraged.
  • Develop and execute the overall security strategy for the Aeronautics Systems security organization.
  • Serve as the sector representative to enterprise security to develop and refine security standards, procedures, and tactics.
  • Drive process development and ensure consistent implementation across all NGAS sites and programs.
  • Lead business intelligence and data analytics efforts to move the organization toward a more proactive security posture.
  • Manage security compliance programs in accordance with all U.S. Government requirements and internal standards.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assist with updates to security procedures and compliance programs.
  • Lead the sector business continuity program to ensure effective crisis management and timely resumption of business activities.
  • Lead Aeronautics Systems sector international security efforts.
  • Provide sector-wide leadership for investigations, insider threat, and counterintelligence activities.
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive security education and awareness program across the sector.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; interface with all levels of government and corporate leadership on program and enterprise security matters.
  • Coordinate with senior business area leadership to resolve issues impacting the security, safety, and compliance of employees, programs, facilities, and operations.
  • Plan, manage, and execute direct and indirect security budgets.
  • Manage the Aeronautics Systems Security capital budget.
  • Serve as the primary focal point for enterprise security vendor management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in security within the aircraft, aerospace, or manufacturing industries, or relevant military experience, or a Master's degree and 8+ years of experience in security within the aircraft, aerospace, or manufacturing industries, or relevant military experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience within a security organization.
  • Must have an Active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to obtain special program access.
  • Must have Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of security requirements supporting dynamic business units that execute high-value contracts across a broad U.S. Government customer base.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8+ years of management or leadership experience within a security organization.
  • Experience and direct participation with Government/Industry security organizations (e.g., ISWG, NDIA, AIA, NCMS).
  • Demonstrated breadth of business, financial, and management skills, knowledge, and abilities.
  • Program management experience, including budgeting, reporting, and strategic planning.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance.
  • Applicable SAP program accesses.


Primary Level Salary Range: $160,200.00 - $240,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
