Full Job Description
As the Director, Indirect Procurement you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Arxada's global indirect procurement strategy. Leading a broad portfolio of indirect spend categories (excluding Professional Services and IT), you will drive sourcing excellence, supplier performance, cost optimization, sustainability initiatives, and risk management across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business performance on a global scale, partner with senior leaders, and deliver measurable value while fostering innovation and operational excellence. Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies that deliver value, cost savings, and long-term business benefits.
  • Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, onboarding, governance, and ongoing performance management.
  • Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement initiatives with business priorities and strategic objectives.
  • Drive supplier relationship management, risk mitigation, sustainability, and continuous improvement initiatives across indirect categories.
  • Identify and implement innovative procurement solutions that improve total cost of ownership, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Lead and develop procurement talent while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.


Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience, 10+ years, in indirect procurement and category management within a global manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and deliver measurable procurement value.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market intelligence, spend data, and business requirements into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, communication, and influencing skills in an international environment.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of developing teams and driving results.


The expected salary range for this role is $162,000 - $198,000, but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law.

This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
