Position Summary:Amkor Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global HR Business Partner, reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, partners with senior leadership and management teams across a global environment. This role will shape and execute HR people initiatives and strategies that drive business needs, organizational effectiveness, workforce transformation, and leadership capability. This position will ensure strategy aligns with business objectives to attract, retain and motivate talent. This position will partner with other human resource functions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
The HR Business Partner will be based onsite at Amkor's headquarters in Tempe, AZ.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Execute HR strategies and initiatives that support business strategy, employee needs and employee engagement.
- Serve as trusted advisor to employees and leadership, capable of influencing, challenging, and coaching.
- Building relationships, coaching leaders on complex employee relations matters, performance management and organizational effectiveness.
- Coach leadership on employee relations, accountability, and conflict resolution while adhering to company policies and values.
- Support workforce planning, identifying critical roles, capabilities, and gaps to ensure alignment with long term growth objectives.
- Leverage HR data analytics to identify trends and drive business decisions.
- Lead and develop global HR professionals, providing direction and coaching.
- Develop reskilling, upskilling, internal mobility, and succession strategies.
- Partner and collaborate cross functionally with HR COEs and Business Functions to ensure alignment across all HR functions and deliver solutions.
- Leader succession planning across the organization, providing input, direction, and best practice while partnering with executive leadership and Talent Management.
- Develop and align internal HR Policies with all organizations to meet business needs
- Adherence to all applicable employment laws, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals in other countries on corporate HR initiatives and strategies providing direction, coaching, and mentorship.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on both corporate and manufacturing positions in a global environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to assess initiatives on a large scale, larger impact, and the ability present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience in large, global, high-tech industries and organizations preferred
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with prior experience working in a diverse, multi-cultural environment.
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with a hands-on approach.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, fast-growing, complex, geographically and culturally diverse organizational structure.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across departments.
- Demonstrates strong analytical skills with proficiency utilizing Excel (pivot tables, lookups, trend analysis), PowerPoint, and HRIS systems.
