ROLE SUMMARY:
Lead and coordinate the integration of human resources plans and strategies in support of business and operational objectives for all Canadian Life Sciences Systems operations. Deliver HR services to the client groups and provide counsel, perspective and subject matter expertise on program design and implementation to supported divisions. Responsible for ensuring the effective administration of all human resources functions including total compensation, performance management, employee development, retention, wellness, and employee relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaboratively develop and execute on the people initiative roadmap that supports achievement of the overall business goals.
• Lead future organizational design and change management initiatives that position the organization for growth, improve operational effectiveness and maintain a high-performing, diverse, motivated, and engaged workforce.
• Understand the business needs and prioritize efforts and strategy accordingly.
• Ensure a proactive approach to progressive HR programs, processes and policies and implement relevant and sustainable changes when required.
• Responsible for employee development and wellness through ongoing education and training programs.
• Ensure employee remuneration concerns are addressed and our total compensation package remains competitive.
• Coordinate the performance management process to ensure that employees' performance is addressed, that high potential employees are identified, developed, retained and promoted within the organization and that realistic succession plans are put in place.
• Provide guidance to management and staff regarding employee relations, performance management and succession planning.
• Support and drive proactive change and organizational efficiencies through the use of the ATS Business Model (ABM)
• Support organizational value drivers by achieving industry leading key performance indicators (KPI's) related to turnover and internal fill rates.
• Ensure company compliance with all applicable employment legislation.
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures..

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Master's degree preferred. A professional HR designation is preferred.

Experience:
• Requires a minimum of ten to twelve years' experience, including 5 years in an HR management position leading people operations teams in a fast paced high-growth organization.
• Strong business acumen and expert communicator
• A proven track record of building and maintaining a high-performance organization and engaged culture.
• Ability to work autonomously, collaboratively and multi-task many priorities in a fast paced, project oriented business.
• Ability to solve problems, deal with gray space and ambiguity at times and demonstrate intuitive judgment.
• Demonstrated previous experience developing strong relationships across all levels of the organization with the ability to influence.

The Compensation offered will be based on the local job market and may vary depending on factors such as the job-related knowledge, skills, experience of the selected candidate, as well as other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
