What can you expect from this position?Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, the Director, HR Services, Systems & Data is a transformational leadership role accountable for modernizing and optimizing how Human Resources services are delivered across the organization. You will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for HR Services, HR Technology, and HR Data & Analytics, driving the development of a scalable, service-oriented operating model that enhances the employee and manager experience while improving efficiency, consistency, and organizational effectiveness.
As a key member of the HR leadership team, you will champion the use of technology, automation, data, and process improvement to transform HR operations, reduce administrative complexity, and enable more strategic value across the function. You will provide strategic oversight of HR systems, digital enablement, workforce analytics, governance, and service delivery, ensuring HR is equipped with the tools, insights, and capabilities required to support a high-performing and future-ready organization.
As a Director, HR Services, Systems & Data, you will:- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of a modern HR service delivery model that enhances service quality, consistency, and accessibility for employees and leaders.
- Establish and oversee centralized HR operations, including service intake, case management, escalation processes, service standards, and performance metrics.
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, simplification, automation, and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
- Develop and execute the HR technology strategy and roadmap, ensuring systems and digital capabilities align with organizational priorities and employee needs.
- Provide end-to-end leadership for HR systems, including enhancements, integrations, governance, vendor management, and ongoing optimization.
- Champion the adoption of digital tools, self-service capabilities, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Lead the HR data and analytics function, delivering workforce insights, dashboards, reporting, and predictive analytics that support informed decision-making.
- Establish strong governance frameworks for HR operations, systems, and employee data, ensuring compliance, security, privacy, and data integrity.
- Partner closely with HR leaders, IT, Payroll, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and drive enterprise-wide HR transformation initiatives.
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, customer service, and continuous learning.
This is the role for you, if you have: - 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including significant leadership experience in HR Operations, HR Technology, HR Services, Shared Services, or HR Transformation environments.
- Experience leading large-scale HR transformation initiatives, including operating model redesign, service delivery optimization, and technology-enabled process improvements.
- Demonstrated success implementing, optimizing, or managing enterprise HRIS/HCM platforms such as Dayforce, Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar solutions.
- Experience developing and leading centralized service delivery or shared services functions focused on service excellence and operational efficiency.
- Strong expertise in HR technology, automation, digital enablement, workforce analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proven experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams, including direct leadership of people leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle processes, service management, data governance, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively across executive, functional, and technical teams.
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline; a graduate degree is considered an asset.
- A professional designation such as CHRL, CHRP, or equivalent credentials in HR, technology, analytics, or transformation is preferred.
- Experience operating within large, complex, multi-stakeholder, unionized, regulated, or customer-focused environments.
- Ability to obtain and retain Transportation Security Clearance at the designated level for the position.
