Human Resource Manager Responsibilities: - Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual.
- Participates in developing department objectives and systems.
- Administers employee professional growth / training programs.
- Administers the compensation program and performance evaluation programs.
- Develops and maintains affirmative action program; files EEO-1 report annually; and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, interns and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program; and writes and places advertisements.
- Administers the background health and drug screening program for new hire employees.
- Administers the employee application and onboarding process.
- Administers and troubleshoots Employee benefits and related updates and queries.
- Coordinates with the Insurance Carriers and Captives as needed for the benefit of the Company.
- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.
- Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
- Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
Position requirements include: • BS or BA Degree.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, also (future use of UKG and COINS data input).
• Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
• Self-starter and ability to work unsupervised
• Team player and self-motivated to succeed
• Periodic daily travel required.
• Legally able to work in the US.
