Director - Housing Development

What You'll Do

The Director of Housing Development will:
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the development, expansion and sustainability of housing initiatives that support individuals with behavioral health needs.
  • Identify, plan, finance and execute housing projects--including permanent supportive housing, transitional housing and community-based housing partnerships--to address social determinants of health and improve clinical and recovery outcomes.
  • Builds/Participates in partnerships and coalitions that advance the cause of housing for those with behavioral health conditions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human services required. Master's degree in public health, health administration, social work or related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years administrative experience in behavioral health, other health care, public administration or related not-for-profit experience with at least 3 years of increasing supervisory responsibilities required.
  • Fund development and grant work experience preferred.
