Capital Equipment & Project Procurement
  • Lead sourcing for capital projects: manufacturing equipment, facility expansions, infrastructure upgrades, and major maintenance
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations during project planning and specification development
  • Run total cost of ownership analyses to guide investment decisions

  • Negotiate commercial terms, warranties, service agreements, and performance guarantees

Facilities & Maintenance Procurement
  • Source and manage suppliers across facility maintenance, mechanical and electrical contractors, HVAC, building automation systems, compressed air, janitorial, security, waste management, utilities, grounds maintenance, fleet and material handling equipment, and MRO supplies
  • Standardize contracts and consolidate suppliers where practical to leverage enterprise purchasing power

Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build strategic relationships with key suppliers and contractors
  • Lead business reviews that track cost, on-time delivery, quality, safety, and service responsiveness
  • Drive corrective action plans and continuous improvement with underperforming suppliers

Contract Negotiation & Risk Management
  • Negotiate pricing, SLAs, payment terms, warranty provisions, and commercial terms, and hold suppliers to contract compliance
  • Work with Legal and Finance on risk mitigation and compliance requirements
  • Put dual-source and contingency strategies in place where supply risk warrants it

Cost Savings & Value Creation
  • Deliver annual cost savings and productivity targets, tracked and validated to financial guidelines
  • Pursue supplier consolidation, material standardization, demand management, process automation, energy cost reduction, and inventory optimization to improve working capital
  • Improve sourcing cycle time without sacrificing quality of award decisions

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with site leadership, maintenance and facilities teams, operations leaders, and project engineers
  • Support capital planning and budgeting, participate in project reviews and supplier selection decisions
  • Serve as the procurement expert on enterprise initiatives, measured in part by internal customer satisfaction
