Director, Global Purchasing SupportRole Summary The Director, Global Purchasing Support leads the systems, processes, and team that help Purchasing work efficiently, accurately, and at scale across the global supply chain. This role oversees part and supplier setup, systems support, supplier quality, and reporting, while serving the global supply chain and purchasing teams as key internal customers.
Success in this role is measured by faster, more accurate support for Purchasing, stronger data quality, better supplier performance, clearer cost visibility, and lower risk.
Key Responsibilities End-
to-
End Purchasing Enablement • Lead and improve global purchasing support processes, including part setup, supplier setup, data management, supplier monitoring, and the project management needed to drive priorities and execution
• Build purchasing workflows that are technology-enabled, consistent, scalable, and ready for audit, with strong communication, training, and change management to support adoption
• Partner with Tech and Operations to improve system connections and digital tools that support Purchasing
• Manage external technology partners (e.g., Certa, Pimberly) to ensure solutions and service levels meet business needs
Systems, Data & Reporting • Lead part quality and lifecycle management in Pimberly, including custom part setup and governance
• Oversee supplier integrations and tracking to ensure accurate data and timely issue resolution
• Support purchasing activities in SAP and other tools, including rebates and commercial programs
• Deliver reporting and insights that improve cost visibility, quality, and risk management, with the ability to guide data management and extraction needs that support effective solutions
Supplier Quality, Compliance & Risk • Lead supplier quality and compliance processes, including MWBE, EcoVadis, and other related requirements
• Track and report supplier performance, certifications, and risk indicators, and escalate issues as needed
• Partner with Global Purchasing, Legal, and Compliance to reduce supplier-related risk
Leadership & Team Management • Lead and develop a global team of approximately 12 professionals across purchasing support functions, with strong cultural inclusion and flexibility across time zones
• Set clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans aligned with efficiency, quality, and risk outcomes
• Build a high-accountability culture focused on continuous improvement and cross-functional partnership
Cross-
Functional Partnership • Serve as a strategic partner to the global supply chain and purchasing teams, working closely with Finance, Tech, Infosec, and Distribution
• Turn operational insight and business needs into practical, tech-enabled improvements across systems, data, and processes
• Provide Purchasing leaders with the insights and tools needed to make faster, better decisions

• Effective prioritization and on-time delivery of projects and key initiatives
• Increased data quality and system adoption
• Reduced supplier quality issues, compliance gaps, and operational risk
• Strong internal customer satisfaction from the global supply chain and purchasing teams
Qualifications • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, procurement operations, or related functions
• Experience leading process-, systems-, and data-driven teams
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, and supplier data platforms
• Strong understanding of data management and data extraction, with the ability to set expectations and shape solutions
• Strong technology acumen is required, with the ability to evaluate, adopt, and improve digital tools that support purchasing operations
• Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and execution levels, with strong judgment in ambiguous situations and the ability to lead complex cross-functional challenges
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, training, and change management skills
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively, set clear direction, and hold others accountable
