Salary Range: $220K-$250K

JOB PURPOSE

Husky is seeking a world-class global operations leader to drive the execution, performance, and strategic development of its HRC Operations across all regions.

The Director, Global Operations HRC is accountable for the overall operational performance, industrialization strategy, and continuous improvement of Husky's global HRC manufacturing network. This leader will ensure alignment of manufacturing capabilities, capacity, quality systems, operational excellence initiatives, and talent development strategies across all HRC facilities worldwide.

The role is responsible for developing and executing a long-term global manufacturing strategy that supports business growth, enhances competitiveness, improves customer responsiveness, and enables scalable operational performance. The Director will partner closely with Sales/Solutioning, Engineering, Supply Chain, Commercial, Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and regional operations leaders to ensure consistent global execution and achievement of business objectives.

The successful candidate combines strategic vision with operational excellence, demonstrating the ability to influence globally, build strong leadership teams, drive transformational change, and deliver measurable business results through people, processes, technology, and innovation.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Global Operational Performance
• Own and drive performance of the global HRC manufacturing network.
• Establish global operational standards, governance, KPIs, and best practices.
• Ensure manufacturing operations consistently achieve targets for:

• Develop and implement strategies that ensure scalable and sustainable operational growth.

Manufacturing Strategy & Industrialization
• Define and execute the global HRC operations strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive industrialization initiatives, automation roadmaps, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve throughput, operational efficiency, and manufacturing flexibility.
• Lead strategic investments in equipment, technology, facilities, and operational infrastructure.
• Champion smart manufacturing and digital transformation initiatives.

Capacity Planning
• Develop global capacity planning models to align manufacturing capabilities with future demand.
• Optimize production allocation across facilities to maximize utilization and customer responsiveness.
• Ensure manufacturing footprint supports future growth and market requirements.

Operational Excellence & Transformation
• Lead the continuous improvement and transformation of HRC tooling operations to enhance safety, quality, delivery performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive end-to-end operational performance and execution excellence across the global manufacturing network.
• Establish and promote best practices, operational standards, and performance management systems that support consistent and scalable business results.
• Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all manufacturing locations.
• Leverage data, performance metrics, and operational insights to identify opportunities, prioritize improvements, and drive sustainable results.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency, responsiveness, flexibility, and overall competitiveness.
• Build organizational capability by developing leaders, strengthening problem-solving disciplines, and fostering a mindset of operational excellence and continuous learning.

Quality Leadership
• Establish and maintain a culture of "Quality at the Source" across all manufacturing locations.
• Ensure consistent implementation and adherence to the Global Quality Management System.
• Drive closed-loop quality improvement processes and global standardization.
• Partner with Quality leaders to reduce defects, improve reliability, and increase customer satisfaction.

Leadership and Talent Development
• Provide leadership and direction to regional manufacturing leaders and plant management teams.
• Develop a strong succession pipeline and global talent strategy.
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Coach and develop operational leaders to build organizational capability and future leadership strength.
• Promote consistency in leadership practices and performance standards across the global organization.

Stakeholder Management
• Serve as the primary global operations representative for HRC manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with:

o Engineering

o Sales and Solutioning

o Supply Chain

o Customer Support

o Product Management
• Communicate operational strategies, risks, opportunities, and business performance effectively to executive leadership.
• Support customer engagement activities and strategic account initiatives where operational expertise is required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience
• Significant experience managing multi-site or global teams.
• Experience leading operational transformation and industrialization initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, automation, digital manufacturing, and capacity planning.
• Global leadership experience across multiple regions and cultures.

Languages
• English required.
• Additional languages (German, French, Mandarin, or others) considered an asset.
