The Role:
  • Drives corporate insurance operations strategy, overseeing global claims and guiding strategic relationships across product groups, claims providers, and reinsurance partners.


Responsibilities:
  • Leads Insurance Services' operational strategy, ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and effective loss control.
  • Leads claims, operations, and customer support strategy, using claims insights to guide product, underwriting, marketing, and loss control decisions.
  • Partners with senior leadership to enhance global operations and evaluate emerging technologies and opportunities
  • Leads relationships with major customers and business partners.
  • Drives strategic partnerships to enhance capabilities and program performance.


Skill Required:
  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • CRM Strategy Design and Implementation: Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM); ability to design and run CRM applications to acquire, grow and retain profitable customer relationships.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Knowledge of collaborative techniques and approaches; ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and working together across functions to solve business problems and meet business goals.
  • Understanding Customer Needs: Knowledge of customer needs analysis principles, processes and skills; ability to recognize and be sensitive to the different perspectives and priorities of different customers.


Additional Information
  • This position requires the successful candidate to work full time, 5 days per week in the Nashville main office.


Compensation & Benefits

Summary Pay Range:

$185,808.00 - $297,300.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
