Job Description:
With deep experience in translating commercial insights & analytics into strategic implications, an appetite for innovation and care for people, the Director, Global Oncology Commercial Insights and Analytics, Multiple Myeloma leads a team of 5 competitive intelligence, market research, forecasting and analytics professionals to shape the oncology pipeline strategy in the Multiple Myeloma (MM). Through deep understanding of disease and market, customers’ needs, perceptions and behaviors, monitoring and evaluating emerging targets/MOAs, competitors’ strategies/tactics and developing commercial opportunity assessments, this role will partner across the value chain to enable clinical development and commercialization and maximize J&J’s pipeline value.
The role will be a core member of the GCSO GCI Oncology and MM DAS leadership teams and organizations, and also partner closely with commercial, medical affairs, market access and R&D leaders in planning and execution of key strategic projects within MM.

- Enhance insights and analytics capabilities that support key strategic global commercial processes (strategy development, commercial input to governance processes, annual budget planning, long range financial planning, and commercial evaluations for BD)
- Build partnerships and new ways of working with key stakeholders to deliver fit for purpose insights and analytics
- Partner with other Oncology DAS GCI leads to ensure consistency in implementation of key processes across market research, competitive intelligence and forecasting
- Business Cycle Deliverables – Shape & Drive core business cycle deliverables for MM
Partner with regions and cross-functional stakeholders:
- Ensure timely implementation of LRFP & execution of the global guidance
- Coordinate with regions on market research and competitive intelligence projects
- Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic processes (annual budget planning, BD)
- Drive insights and best practice sharing across stakeholder groups
- Partner with regions and global stakeholders on strategic KPI tracking (performance, launch)
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Education: BA/BS
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare or related industry is required
- Oncology and/or Multiple Myeloma background is preferred
- Experience in a commercial function is required (marketing, market research, forecasting, competitive intelligence, or related functions)
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Advanced ability in identifying opportunities, effectively developing business cases and pull through solutions
- Expertise in creating cross functional teams and business structures to collaboratively solve complex challenges
- Advanced ability to effectively influence senior leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization
- Proven experience of leading a team of direct reports
- Advanced ability to identify and drive improvement in ways of working, GCI processes, tools and technology, to enable improved effectiveness or efficiency
- This role will be based in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic and / or international travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
• Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
• Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
• Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
• Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
• Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
• Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
• Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
• Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
• Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
