Job DescriptionJob Description: - Responsible for ownership of all legal entity accounting and financial reporting across global Peloton.
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are followed, in accordance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) and internal controls.
- Oversee the preparation and consolidation of global financial statements and ensure compliance with US GAAP (or relevant local accounting standards).
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage the firm's annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Lead the financial forecasting process, providing accurate forecasts for cash flow, revenue, and expenses.
- Oversee cash flow management, ensuring the company has the liquidity to meet its operational and capital needs.
- Develop strategies for optimizing working capital and managing financial risks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and manage the firm's annual budget, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Monitor budget performance and provide analysis of variances, along with recommendations for corrective actions when necessary.
- Manage banking relationships and monitor cash balances, ensuring funds are available for daily operations.
- Lead and contribute to internal projects to improve ERP reporting and functionalities for the Finance team.
- This position will also supervise Staff Accountant(s).
- Telecommuting is permitted for this role, with at least one (1) day in the Boston office required per week.
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, a related field, or foreign equivalent. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor's degree.
- Five (5) years of work experience as an accountant or financial controller.
- Five (5) years of experience with integrated ERP systems.
- Five (5) years of experience with owning general ledgers and completing financial statements.
- Five (5) years of experience in global payroll processes, accounting policies and standards.
- Five (5) years of experience in managing accounting teams and leadership of career development.
- Must possess CPA or CA certification from the U.S. or another country.
Compensation: Peloton provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, business needs, and geographic location.
