Director Fund / Client Accounting

We9re seeking a future team member for the role of Fund/Client Accounting Manager to join our Fund Accounting team. This role location is Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you9ll make an impact in the following ways:
3 Direct a Fund Accounting area consisting of multiple teams responsible for accounting services including determining net asset values, calculating fund performance, allocating expenses, and preparing reports
3 Manage financial and human resources for the unit, ensuring teams operate effectively to meet goals and objectives
3 Set guidelines for determining net asset value (NAV) across various fund sectors and promote consistency across product areas
3 Oversee client relationship management, ensuring service levels meet client needs and resolving client issues
3 Participate in sales efforts including RFP and RFI preparation and presentations
3 Provide oversight and guidance on financial statement disclosures and resolve complex escalated issues
3 Lead analysis of GAAP and/or IFRS rules to assess regulatory impacts and develop compliance policies
3 Set guidelines and priorities for drafting financial reports and communicate complex accounting details to clients
3 Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff to maximize individual and team performance
3 Manage relationships with senior auditors and clients to ensure accurate financial reporting and fund performance depiction
3 Oversee multiple Fund/Client Accounting teams through subordinate managers and contribute to achieving team objectives

To be successful in this role, we9re seeking the following:
3 Bachelor9s degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience
3 7-10 years of total work experience with at least 3-5 years in management preferred
3 Experience in fund accounting and client relationship management
3 Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
3 Proven people leadership skills with ability to recruit, develop, and motivate teams

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
