JOB TITLE Director, FP&A
FLSA STATUS (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Exempt
LOCATION: Hybrid 3 days on-site in King of Prussia; 2 days Remote
SALARY RANGE: $140 - 180K
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Own and drive the financial deliverables for Premier, a management service organization that provides back-office support for physician practices.
- Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating drivers and financial results to develop a detailed understanding of the finance organization's key metrics, and leverage that understanding to predict drivers of those key metrics
- Work closely alongside accounting teams to understand fluctuations from previous months, identify process improvements, and strive towards clear line of sight to accurate forecasting in future periods
- Develop executive-level analyses to be used by CFO and Board of Directors for monthly board meetings
- Coordinate and effectively communicate with various teams throughout the company and all levels of management regarding accounting and/or finance results
- Partner with functional teams to understand operational changes and subsequent impact on financial results
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement, committed to quality, communication, and eagerness to collaborate
EXPERIENCEMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred
- Minimum five years of accounting and/or finance experience
- Healthcare/ Hospital Management experience - preferably in private practice
- Experience building high-level and detailed financial models
- Strong computer skills: Excel
- Desire for continuous learning and growth
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have- Big 4 / Consulting and/or PE-owned firm experience
- M&A experience
- Experience with Microsoft D365
KNOWLEDGE- Finance acumen to drive budgeting and forecasting and comparing actuals
- Accounting knowledge (BS, P&L, CF)
- Lead staff and projects in change management and integrate systems, processes, and teams
SKILLS- Strong communication skills to convey financial results to non-financial leaders
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with management, medical staff, auditors, and the public
- Facilitating goal attainment through the efforts of multi-disciplinary
- Identifying the need, plan and develop new processes
ABILITIES- Work creatively with management, department staff, and multiple teams to achieve objectives
- Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize quickly, and deliver results
