We are searching for the best talent for a Director Forecasting, Randomization & Trial Supply Management (RTSM) in either Horsham, PA, Titusville, NJ or Beerse, Belgium.

In the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) - Digital Solutions department we drive digital transformation in CSC to provide Hope in a Box to patients. To advance the digital capabilities in clinical kit forecasting and RTSM, we are looking for an experienced digital transformation leader, who shares our ambition for providing innovative medicines to patients, clinical trials, business transformation through digital, and becoming a more digital and data driven organization. The individual will work closely with peers across CSC, Clinical Operations, Therapeutic Areas, Quality, Data Management, Procurement, and IT to develop fit-for-purpose processes, technology and data solutions.

In this role, you will:
  • As a member of the Digital Solutions leadership team, drive the strategy and implementation of digital technology in clinical kit forecasting and RTSM.
  • Define multi-year capability, technology and investment roadmaps, considering the future positioning of RTSM and our SAP S4 business transformation program, that will modernize our foundational Supply chain processes and harmonize them into one "clean" SAP S4 platform (SAP S4 Hana) for growth and efficiency gains.
  • Lead multi-functional teams for implementation of new capabilities.
  • Develop outstanding collaborations with peer functions and strategic technology providers to design and sustain an innovative digital landscape.
  • Actively network within the industry and with strategic partners to proactively benchmark, exchange knowledge, drive capability and technology roadmaps.
  • Impeccable delivery and operations: establish comprehensive mechanisms to ensure programs are delivered, on time, on budget, aligned with the overall study timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support such initiatives of related partners.
  • Ensure robust support and incident management processes are implemented and ensure validated state and audit readiness of the systems.
  • Ensure business plans are aligned within R&D; ensure strong financial controls are in place.


Qualifications
Education
  • Master's degree, or bachelor's degree preferably in Supply Chain Management or Information Technology, supplemented with relevant work experience.
  • APICS CPIM, PMI certifications, and MBA are an advantage.


Experience and Skills:

Required:
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in digital transformation leadership roles within R&D and/or Supply Chain.
  • In depth experience in RTSM, supply chain planning and/or logistics. Demonstrated experience in E2E supply chain solutions.
  • Strong forward thinking, ability to develop and implement a cohesive digital strategy that aligns with organizational goals. Solid understanding of the technology market.
  • Expertise in team dynamics, interpersonal and project management skills, balancing multiple projects with outstanding (senior) partner engagement skills.
  • Experience in GxP, privacy regulations, data integrity and (Agile) systems lifecycle development.
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to understand issues from multiple viewpoints.
  • A bias for transformational change, experience in leading change and digital adoption.
  • Experience in building partnership with and managing technology suppliers.


Preferred:
  • Experience with relevant technology platforms 4G (4C, Prancer), SAP, OMP is preferred.
  • Operational experience in clinical trials with a pharmaceutical company and/or a Clinical Research Organization (CRO).

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$164,000.00 - $282,900.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

Vacation -120 hours per calendar year

Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year

Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year

Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child

Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
